We are a primary care talking therapies service, and therefore it is helpful if potential clients are aware of what the service can offer. Further information regarding what Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies offers can be found on this website.
If you are a healthcare professional and are aware of a patient that you feel would benefit from talking therapy for a mild-moderate common mental health problem, you can support a patient by:
- Signposting patients to self-refer to Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies using our self-referral form.
- Or, by completing a Professionals Referral Form, on behalf of your patient, with their consent. This form can be downloaded here.
- Supporting patients to access self-help materials.

Is a patient in need of urgent support?
Bradford District Talking Therapies is not an urgent care or crisis support service. First Response crisis service is for people of all ages living in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale or Craven who believe they are experiencing a mental health crisis.
