Professional referral

As well as self-referrals, Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies accept referrals from a patient’s GP or healthcare professional.

We are a primary care talking therapies service, and therefore it is helpful if potential clients are aware of what the service can offer.  Further information regarding what Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies offers can be found on this web page.

If you are a healthcare professional and you are aware of a patient that you feel would benefit from talking therapy for a mild-moderate common mental health problem, you can support a patient by:

  • Signposting patients to self-refer to Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies using our self-referral form.
  • Completing a Professionals Referral Form, on behalf of your patient, with their consent. This form can be downloaded here.

You can also direct patients to access our self-help materials.

If you wish to discuss a referral, please contact Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies Administration team via 01274 221234 or  Our operational hours are Monday – Friday – 09:00am – 05:00pm.
